Objective ADHD Testing

QB Check: ADHD, Measured Not Guessed

A computer-based test that objectively measures attention, activity level, and impulsivity. It gives Dr. Pierre-Louis data to support diagnosis and track how well treatment is working.

What QB Check measures

QB Check is a 15 to 20 minute computerized assessment that uses a motion-tracking sensor and a continuous performance task to measure the three core areas of ADHD: inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. Instead of relying only on questionnaires and observation, it gives an objective, data-backed picture of how these symptoms show up in real time.

Two ways we use it

Supporting your care

01
Supporting an ADHD diagnosis

Used alongside the clinical interview to add objective data when symptoms are unclear or when a second data point is helpful.

02
Monitoring medication effectiveness

Retaken periodically after starting or adjusting treatment to see, numerically, whether attention and impulse control are improving, not just relying on self-report.

Is this required?

QB Check is offered as an optional add-on to your evaluation or ongoing care. Dr. Pierre-Louis will let you know if it's a good fit for your situation. It's never required to receive an ADHD diagnosis or treatment.

FAQ

Common questions about QB Check

Not at all. You'll sit at a computer and respond to simple on-screen prompts. There are no needles, scans, or physical discomfort involved.
No. It's optional and most useful when there's value in objective data, either to support a new diagnosis or to track how treatment is working over time.
This depends on your treatment plan. Some patients take it once for diagnostic support. Others retake it periodically to monitor medication effectiveness. Dr. Pierre-Louis will recommend a schedule based on your goals.
